Diversity
“Since 2013, I have been working at Morssinkhof Plastics. I started there as a logistics employee and, for the past year, I have been working as a ‘logistics and quality employee’. I think the diversity is fantastic.”
Activities
“My daily activities are extensive and a lot of fun! I perform quality tests on various plastic material streams, both incoming and outgoing. We mainly look at the properties of the material and any contamination present. An example of this is determining the Melt Flow Index, the moisture content, or the purity of the material. In addition, I also check incoming goods for composition, such as the ratio of PE to PP. As soon as the test results are available, they are recorded on quality documents. Examples include a Certificate of Analysis or a certificate regarding heavy metals. In recent years, we have been testing more and more extensively to meet both customer requirements and certain legal and regulatory requirements.”
Proud of
“I am proud of the Achterhoek, especially of Groenlo, but I am most proud of cycling the Alpe d’HuZes. I did this together with a group of 18 people, and we raised quite a lot of money at the time. I would also love to cycle the Pieterpad sometime.”

“Working at Morssinkhof Plastics is really great. The atmosphere is good, I have nice colleagues, and everyone is willing to help each other. The employment conditions are good, and there is quite a lot of space and freedom as long as you do your job well and take responsibility. Not unimportant either; I always look forward to the Christmas drinks — they’re really fun and cozy.”
Challenge
“It’s a challenge to correctly identify the plastic streams. I’d like to develop myself further in this and keep learning. In the past period, we’ve all taken big steps; we’ve created an even better work structure, we’re working with an optimized (freight) schedule, which gives us an excellent overview and makes everything user-friendly. Everything is well organized, and we’re all proud of that.”
The future
“In 5 years, I’ll still be working here—and if it’s up to me, until I retire. I’m having a great time, and I can bike to work every day, which is wonderful”!
